Sean Peterson, Elijah Davis, and Kyle Pagel zipped through Illinois and marked 19 Blue-winged Warblers in just a few days.  Photo of Kyle standing atop a cool rock outcrop, by Elijah Davis.



In central Illinois the crew was moving north with spring phenology and they were welcomed by vews like this (Ox eye sunflowers, maybe? I'm not a botanist). Photo by Elijah Davis.
