West Tennessee

28 May 2015

At Fort Campbell in western Tennessee the crew had to lure Blue-winged Warblers out of their territories because these birds live in places where you don't want to be walking or driving stakes into the ground!  Thanks to guidance from Daniel Moss (Avian Ecologist) the crew had no problem marking all the birds they needed in just two days.  This work was completed back in early May, but we just got these photos recently from Daniel.

Luckily these males were very aggressive and made capture, marking, and release a breeze for the crew.
