Weather Woes

The crews have been getting pounded by rain, day after day. It is frustrating sitting in the truck in a hailstorm knowing there is a geolocator-marked bird just waiting to be captured. Today, Kyle's crew is in the middle of a flash flood watch. That's bad news for ground-nesting warblers and those of us trying to study them. We're all watching the forecast and hoping for a few clear mornings to help us get back on track. Special thanks to Daniel Moss for getting us extended access to the sites on Fort Campbell. Hopefully a few extra days will make all the difference.
